This is what me and the BFF (only just learned that this does NOT stand for "Best F****ng Friend") when we're both in the Hard Rock Hell Retirement Home and I've had a sex change.

Quite looking forward to it actually. 

Pole Position for Qualifying Lap

I submitted my book a couple of weeks ago to be assessed for my qualification. I couldn't wait  to get it done and handed in.

.

...but when it came to handing it over I got all nostalgic.

You see, in this book, they aren't just pictures.

 They're photographs of some of the most important people in my life.

They are pictures of some new people to my life.

They're pictures taken by some people who are going to be/are already making big noises...

... and these people were all kind enough to give me a chance to step up.

These images have already changed my life.

And they continue to.

I'm grateful to each and every person both in shot and behind the scenes.

I'm excited and determined about the future. After all, it is mine for the making. 

I'm looking forward to working with each of you again, in one capacity or another.

Even if not all the photos are, ahem, "flattering"!

Some of my friends are nuts and to them I'm especially grateful...

And I shall miss seeing the lovely class and all my new friends from it. 

Even though there are a couple I will DEFINITELY see again.

There are shots in here from my first ever shoots and my first ever studio work.

The fun bits you occasionally get to do (book NOW for Halloween people!)

And shots of one of my unexpectedly favorite aspects of my business.

So I don't surpose when you think of it that way that it's all that surprising I was reluctant to hand it over. It has, after all, created me a new future.

I got asked to do some overtime today in the "day job".

I couldn't do it.

"That's hardly the basis for a blog post!" I hear you cry. (mutter)

Except that it is.

You see the reason that I can't do it is that 3 lots of my work is being exhibited in London so I have to go to the launch party.

That's quite a good basis for a blog post I'd say.
